| CLA launches photo contest - Thursday, April 02, 2009GOOD ADS, NEED GOOD PHOTOS
We want to spice up our photo banks that will be used for upcoming advertising, but need your help to do so. We are looking for images that have not been used before and representing: Commercial cow(s)with Limousin calf at side, Limousin cross calves / feeders, Mature Limousin bulls. Images can be sent by email but must be at least 300 DPI resolution. You can also forward prints by regular mail to the CLA office.
What’s in it for you??? Each selected photograph will earn you a free spot on the CLA co-op ad in the Cattlemen Magazine issue of your choice (among the five where CLA ads will be placed).

| New Twist to the CLA Advertising Campaign - Wednesday, April 01, 2009The CLA print advertising campaign is taking a new twist for 2009-2010. In order to have a presence in the Cattlemen Magazine as much as possible but keep costs within our budget means, we are considering co-operative ads. The attached mock up shows the layout we have in mind. We have eight spots available for breeders to purchase.
The CLA board identified these as the important issues to be in: September 2009 issue, October 2009 (tabloid issue), January 2010 (tabloid issue), February 2010 issue, March 2010 issue. Breeders can participate in one issue, all five or pick and choose the preferred months. Cost is $100/spot or $400 if you commit to all five issues, but payable prior to the September 2009 ad publication. First come first serve. In the event that we have more than 8 interested parties, we would consider doing a two page spread.
