Provides direction for the breed in regard to EPDs, data collection, Digital Beef registry and DNA.

National Show & Sale Committee
CLA Board of Directors liaison with the provincial representatives of the National Show & Sale Committee. This committee is involved with:
- Selection of the National Show judge
- Selection of the National Sale management
- Show apparel
- Masterfeeds Show Cattle of the Year Awards

COMMERCIAL COMMITTEE
Works to increase demand of the breed in the commercial industry and to engage the commercial cattleman through promotion and educational opportunities. This committee hosts the CLA Cattlemen's Evening during the CLA AGM/CJLA Impact Show. Commercial bull buyers are invited to this event which includes a supper and speakers.

Looks after branding and promotional matters of the association. This includes organizing promotional items, breed items for giveaways and general marketing material.
